Last month my family and I traveled to Greece to run the Athens Marathon Sadly, Timo, David and the tinies weren't able to come. The trip, nevertheless was amazing. Here is a photos journey of our adventures.
Yesterday was amazing. My family (minus Timo and Dave :( ) ran the Athens marathon, 2500 years after Phiedippidis ran to Athens to announce the Athenian victory over Persia, at the Battle of Marathon.
Our race ended in Athens at the original modern day olympic stadium. 4:25 min after crossing the starting line, I entered the stadium with crowds of people from all over the world cheering me on.
