Hilo, Hawaii

The first week of the year I flew to the big island of Hawai'i to visit my brother, Seppo. As you might imagine, my trip was AWESOME.

Here is a photo journal of my week in paradise.

Day 1:
Kick-butt run (See previous post)
Hiking to the waterfalls in and around Hilo

Day 2:
Snorkel
Hot spring
Natural steams room
Went to see the lava flow

Day 3:
$5 sunglasses from Walmart...Dream-mart
11 mile hike over lava flows
Camp on the beach

Day 4:
Snorkeling at a remote beach
Hike 1 bajillion feet in elevation, back to the car

Day 5:
Relax










Day 6:
Scuba diving
Manta Ray night dive
















Day 7:
Camp
Butt-kicking run
Relax
Fly back to Salt Lake City
